Roomley Agent Discovery Web Design

Roomley is a real estate technology platform that helps home buyers and sellers search, compare, and connect with licensed real estate agents. The aim of the redesign was to create a clean, data-driven, and user-friendly interface that empowers users to make informed decisions while simplifying the agent search process.

Strategy

The strategy centered on trust through transparency. The design conveys that Roomley is an objective, unbiased helper — not a listing site. Emphasis was placed on clean comparison layouts, user direction, and SEO for people searching “find real estate agent” in different markets.

Design

The visual style uses a crisp, modern palette of whites, grays, and accent colors to maintain readability and trust. Typography is clear and neutral, with data visualizations (stars, bars, badges) to quickly show agent performance. Spacing and card layouts allow complex data to breathe.

Built on a robust back end to handle large datasets, search queries, and dynamic filtering. Caching, indexing, and lazy loading were essential to maintain speed. Analytics and A/B testing frameworks were integrated to monitor user behavior and improve matching algorithms.

The main objective was to build a trust-driven digital platform that simplifies how users connect with the right real estate agents. Roomley needed a website that communicates professionalism and accuracy while remaining easy to navigate. The brief emphasized clarity, credibility, and speed — users should instantly understand what Roomley does and feel confident using it to compare agents.

We analyzed leading real estate comparison platforms such as Zillow, Realtor.com, and Homelight to study user journeys, filtering behaviors, and data visualization. The research highlighted that users value speed, transparency, and clean design over heavy visuals. Insights from UX studies guided the layout — ensuring users could access key information (ratings, specialties, contact options) within just a few clicks.

The design process began with mapping user flows and wireframing multiple comparison paths — from search results to agent profiles. Once the framework was validated, high-fidelity mockups were created focusing on hierarchy and readability. We tested visual balance between data and whitespace, refining color tones and icons for intuitive use. The final product achieved a streamlined, high-trust experience that helps users make decisions confidently and efficiently.

Collaborating with Roomley’s team, we prioritized clarity, accuracy, and ease of use. Every UI decision was balanced by user empathy and data clarity. The finished product transforms Roomley into a trusted real estate matchmaker — delivering information, confidence, and connection all in one seamless interface.
